The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 player auction was held 16 days ago on Friday (December 23rd) in Kochi.th A total of 405 players will go under the hammer this season.

There are 273 Indian players participating in the auction and 132 overseas players, including four from associate countries. There are a total of 87 slots available on Friday, 30 of which are reserved for overseas cricketers.
