LeEco has announced a new mobile phone for the Chinese New Year (January 22nd this year is Chinese New Year).
The LeEco S1 Pro is a mid-ranger that clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the iPhone 14 Pro, right down to the dynamic island. Like Apple’s flagships, it’s also practical.
However, the similarities are only in appearance. The LeEco S1 Pro has a 6.5 inch 720x1600px LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the 12nm Zhanrui T7510 chipset with four 1.8GHz Cortex-A75 cores and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Graphics are handled by an Imagination 9446 GPU with a clock speed of 800MHz. I have a single 8/128GB configuration.
LeEco S1 Pro
The LeEco S1 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged at 10W. The camera is equipped with a 5MP main camera on the front and a 13MP main camera on the back.
The LeEco S1 Pro comes with Huawei’s mobile services instead of GMS, which isn’t surprising since Google’s suite isn’t available in China.
