We wanted to test these claims, so we gave Baby Brezza Formula Pro a try. Here’s what we discovered.

In this article, the testers were parents of young babies. They used to manually mix their formulas.
What is Baby Brezza Formula Pro?
The Formula Pro is a machine that measures and formulates baby formula. There is a hopper for powdered milk and a tank for water. You then specify the amount of water you want, between 2 and 10 ounces, the amount of formula you want, and the machine does the rest. Your settings are remembered, so you don’t have to enter them each time.

The Advanced Wi-Fi version of the Baby Brezza Formula Pro we tested costs around $300 and is available from Amazon. However, you can also buy one without Wi-Fi starting around $200.
How to use Baby Brezza Formula Pro
Before we start, we need to set it up. Many parts need to be cleaned and dried before assembly, which takes a lot of time. Everything has stickers on it, so it’s unlikely you’ll miss cleaning parts, but this one left me a little underwhelmed.
Easy to use once you finally set it up and fill it with water and formula. Specify the water temperature, formula settings, and amount of water required. This can be done on the machine itself or via an app. Then place the bottle under the spout, press “start” and the machine will do the rest.

The water boils instantly, so you don’t have to wait for it to boil. An internal reservoir keeps the water warm when the machine is on standby. So you can dispense warm water and quickly create bottles of formula.
Easy to adjust settings
Adjusting settings is very easy and can be done in the app or on the machine itself. There are only 3 settings to customize the bottle as your baby needs, and you can save up to 4 and come back to them easily.
One-touch operation
The Baby Breezer remembers the last settings you used, so if your baby is getting the same amount of formula each time, just press ‘Start’ and let the machine do the rest. However, even if you need to change settings, it won’t take long.
Downsides of the Baby Brezza Formula Pro
Discrepancies in some measurements
When I tried this machine, I was concerned that the measurements would sometimes drift. I made a bottle by hand and compared it to the one made by Baby Brezza, but the machine-made bottle contained more liquid.
However, from thousands of customer reviews, it seems that there are very few complaints of this kind. Some buyers have measured the water the machine brews and blended and found it to be accurate. So if there are discrepancies, they appear to be small things that shouldn’t make a big difference overall.
Parts require regular cleaning and replacement
The filter needs to be replaced regularly and the funnel needs to be cleaned after every 4th use, but some users have found that it needs to be cleaned after only 2 uses. It may not be a deal breaker, but it is somewhat inconvenient.
app is not great
Setting up the app took a long time. I was very frustrated because they didn’t recognize my email address to create an account. Based on App Store and Play Store reviews, this app issue seems to be fairly common, but it’s more of an Android phone issue than an iPhone. It’s enough to make me consider buying the regular version instead of the Wi-Fi version.
can be noisy
I am relatively picky when making formulas. Some parents worry about waking older kids in the middle of the night while making bottles for their babies, but that doesn’t seem to be much of a problem.
Should I buy the Baby Brezza Formula Pro?
Some consider Baby Brezza Formula Pro to be an absolute early lifesaver, while others happily confuse the bottle itself. Our testers weren’t big fans and didn’t feel it was worth using the hand-mixed formula.
First, let’s look at the brand’s claims. Sure, you’ll have warm powdered milk in no time. This is a big problem for many parents. As for ease of setup, the app had issues and was a little tedious to clean all the pieces, but once you’re ready, it’s easy to switch between settings. I’ve never come across a powder formula brand that doesn’t. Its accuracy is passable, but it may not be 100%.
With this in mind, I’d say it’s worth the purchase if you’re looking for another way to make bottles. Not necessarily the method. If you are happy with your current method, this product is not worth purchasing.
