Character movement is very fluid and the gameplay elements are really fun. There are several different ways to play, a more adventure-based mode and a survival mode. I hit the play button and decided to play in adventure mode. Before we commit to entering one of the two archways, we should see what the rewards for completing the level are. Choose wisely.

Each level consists of a number of waves of enemy attacks. Spawn points will appear on the floor so you know where not to stand. Completing every wave will earn you a reward, but be aware that each subsequent wave will start after a certain amount of time, not when the previous wave is completed. After receiving your reward, select the next arch and try again. Each successive level gets a little more difficult as new enemies are introduced, but the scarf-wielding, agile, quick-footed elf doesn’t overly challenge creatures of his type.

If things get a little too close for comfort, you always have the Dash ability. After some levels there is a boss level. Defeat the boss before continuing your adventure. Well, that’s what I’m assuming. The required skill level jumps up a bit. The first few levels are as hard as pushing kids around on a playground, but the boss levels are like getting charged by disgruntled All Blacks while suffering from the flu. After a few more failed attempts, I decided to hone my skills in Survival Mode.

Survival mode is a larger map that follows waves of enemies. Completing a wave also rewards you. You should choose the option that is most convenient or best for your gameplay. I loved hiding behind walls of ice. There are three levels of difficulty that vary the amount of life you start with and the strength of your enemies. If you’re struggling, simply lower the difficulty. It is an advantage if you can learn your enemies and their attacks and anticipate them. If that doesn’t help, take a walk and question your life decisions. I know that. There is always a goal to beat because if you play well you will be on the leaderboard. Sometimes it’s more satisfying to beat yourself than to beat your opponent.

Enemies are easy to spot against the background, but not too obvious, and all enemy movements are very smooth, offering a fun gaming experience.

What looks like only 21 levels with 3 bosses lonely ruins It doesn’t have much to offer in terms of replayability. Survival mode is a good place to come back to beat your previous scores.It’s a fun little game, but it lacks content to make it stand out in an already overcrowded market. It’s been getting a bit of buzz for a while now, but I’m afraid it will soon sink without a trace without any noticeable features. But that’s a decision of the marketing team.
