tech outlook in cooperation with @evleaks We have published extensive leaks about the upcoming Moto G53 and G73. Since the G53 has already been launched in China, we are talking about the global version.
In any case, the Moto G73 will have the same design as the current Moto G72 and will be made of plastic. The color shown in the render is meteorite gray.

Hardware-wise, the device features a 6.5-inch, 120Hz IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080p x 2400px. A MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC runs the show, paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of expandable internal storage.

There are two rear cameras – a 50MP f/1.8 main shooter and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide camera. The selfie camera is 16MP with an aperture of f/2.4.

A 5,000 mAh battery powers the lights and supports 30W TurboPower charging. More importantly, both devices boot up with Android 13 out of the box.

The cheaper Moto G53 employs a similar design language, but settles for a Snapdragon 480+ SoC, which is more than enough to drive a 6.5-inch, 1600 x 720-pixel IPS LCD panel at 120Hz. Memory and storage are limited to 6GB and 128GB respectively. The base configuration is 4GB/64GB.
The rear camera setup is modest, pairing a 50MP, f/1.8 main snapper with a 2MP macro unit, while the front camera is an 8MP, f/2.0.

The hardware draws power from the same 5,000 mAh cell and supports less-than-ideal 10W charging.
Judging by the press images, both phones boast stereo speakers and some sort of advanced game mode, and the G73 also has Dolby Atmos sound.
Interestingly, this report contradicts last month’s report on the Moto G53. Something tells us we can’t speculate any longer, as reports suggest a launch in India is imminent.
