The service was relaunched in December after a chaos that was a revamped Twitter Blue subscription service with dozens of fake accounts impersonating celebrities and businesses around the world causing chaos. Currently, the platform offers annual subscriptions in addition to monthly subscriptions.

For example, a monthly subscription in the US is $8/month, $11 for iOS users, but paying $84/year gives you a blue badge for 1 year. That’s about $7 a month, which isn’t much of a discount, but it’s still some if you’re a “hardcore” user and plan on paying anyway.
For those who don’t know, Twitter Blue not only gives you a blue verified badge, but also prioritized conversation replies, a 60-minute video upload limit, a thread reader, and the ability to edit your tweets.
This service is currently only available in select countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. A broader rollout is planned in the coming months.
