As we mentioned in our PC performance analysis, one of Sonic Frontiers’ biggest problems was its aggressive LOD. And today, we’re happy to report that PC gamers have finally fixed this, increasing overall draw distances and minimizing object pop-ins.
Sonic Central has shared the following video, showcasing the game with two essential mods. Pop-ins can be greatly minimized by using these mods. Seriously, the game looks a lot better now.
The two mods you need to download are Higher Object Pop-in and Max LOD Open Zone. that’s all. Sonic Frontiers looks amazing with these two mods. As a bonus, there is a high quality model of Sonic available for download here.
