Ever since Samsung started making foldable phones, people have wondered when display creases would go away. It makes foldable phones, but Samsung has stuck with that design for some time since it’s the only company that makes foldable phones that are also water resistant.
But according to The Verge (opens in new tab)if this new display concept from Samsung Display is any indication, that could all change with the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This new foldable display concept allows users to bend the display in and out, It can be folded completely flat in either direction.
According to recent rumors (opens in new tab)the Fold 5 has to adopt a new type of hinge that folds flat, which greatly reduces creases, uses a waterdrop-shaped inner design, and also maintains water resistance. It looks like you check most of the boxes.
