One of my most enjoyable gaming experiences last year was reviewing Two Point Campus as a huge fan of Two Point Hospital and Theme Hospital. The gameplay is fun, with a relaxed tone and humorous writing. In fact, you can read my entire review here. Apparently, when they announced the Space Academy DLC, I already had astronaut ice cream and fried chicken!

Space Academy adds even more great content to an already packed game. You can’t just dive into DLC where you have to play a little bit of the core game before the content is available. This is good. A little more nuanced and challenging than the main experience. You can play on his three new maps (Campuses): Universe City, Cape Shrapnul, and Cheese Heap.

new course

Space Knight Academy
A nomadic offshoot of the traditional (land-based) knightly order. Nothing tests your bottle like an infinite void.

astrology
A field defying gravity and common sense. Astronauts defy traditional beliefs and float in the ether. You may not like it, but you’d probably say you’re a Capricorn.

cosmic expansion
For generations, Two Pointian has gazed at the stars and thought, “I’m going to own one someday!” Thanks to amazing technological advances, it’s now a very real possibility, and a disappointing one.

space academy
Life in space isn’t just about dodging shooting stars and lasers. No, it’s mostly protocol and uniform ironing.

cheese moongully
No one wants to see how cheese is made.

Humanities
Countless alien civilizations have studied humanity during its relatively short lifetime, but most have remained within safe and comprehensible distance until now!

What is included?

  • 3 new campus locations
  • Six new courses with fully animated classrooms
  • 6 new student archetypes
  • Three new events including a sci-fi convention, a space battle and an out-of-this-world gig act.
  • New Time Tourism Club

Start by training new people to be astronauts, then space heroes, and eventually educate aliens. Do not just add To get students into space, you have to buy transportation (thus limiting the number of new ones you can accept), and of course you have to deal with meteorite falls, which administrative staff have to deal with. but the wreckage makes the student sick. So we need more nursing staff….yes there is ALOT going on here.

All in all, nothing truly groundbreaking, but if you’re a fan of the base game, it’s definitely worth the $9.99.
