Render of Mobvoi’s Wear OS 3 smartwatch leaks

Mobvoi has first confirmed that its next-generation smartwatches will be powered by Qualcomm’s new wearable chipset, following Qualcomm’s announcement of a new lineup of new chipsets for wearables in July. One of the companies. Although not officially named, the leaker’s Kuba Wojciechowski has posted what is believed to be a rendering of what is called the “Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5.” For the same reason his OEMs in smartphones don’t use the number ‘4’ in their products (tetraphobia), Mobvoi is believed to skip his 4th version and simply call it 5.

The image is the design of the new watch case. Instead of two crowns, the new wearable has his one crown with a rotating dial and a flash accessory key above it. Aside from the layout change, the watch case design retains the overall shape of previous TicWatch Pro models, including the knurling around the bezel. It looks like the watch band is also made of hard silicone, like Mobvoi used on previous models.

According to leakers, Mobvoi is getting closer to revealing its smartwatch. Mobvoi teased the next-generation TicWatch Pro back in July, shortly after Qualcomm announced its new lineup of smartwatch chipsets, and we haven’t heard much about the watch since.
