Amazon Music Unlimited plans will be $1/£1 higher for users starting February 21st, the latest price increase in the music streaming industry. The US user will pay $10.99/month for an individual (non-prime) subscription and the UK user will be charged her £10.99 instead of her current £9.99.

Student prices in both regions are also $1/£1, from $/£4.99 to $/£5.99 per month. Amazon’s customer service page explains that the newly increased price “helps us bring more content and features to our users.” Amazon Music is the world’s third largest streaming platform after Apple Music and Spotify.
