The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is another controller for fast yet affordable gaming phones. The version with 512GB of storage retails for $500, giving you room to play tons of games. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate (and HDR10+ support). game to be played. The 4,800mAh battery is pretty big, and the phone supports 68W wired charging (0-100% in 35 minutes) and 15W wireless charging.
Another 144Hz phone from Motorola is the Edge (2021). This instead sports a 6.8-inch LCD (his FHD+ resolution with HDR10) and his Snapdragon 778G powered by the flagship-class Adreno 642L GPU. The 256GB phone is priced down to $300.
The Nokia G400 is a budget 5G phone powered by the Snapdragon 480+ chipset. However, the $200 price tag isn’t too far from Motorola. $100 is still $100. In addition to the slow chipset, be aware that this only has 64GB of storage (although it’s expandable via microSD).
Next are some inexpensive Amazon tablets. The 2022 Fire HD 8 has been slashed to just $60, making it cheap enough to be used as a dedicated streaming device or for Zoom calls. Note that there is a Plus version that adds extra RAM (which is only 2GB), includes a faster charger (9W vs 5W) and supports wireless charging.
The 2021 Fire HD 10’s larger, higher-resolution display might be better suited for Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney streaming. This big slate always comes with a 9W charger, but the Plus model has more RAM (4GB vs. 3GB) and wireless charging.
If you just want a tablet for young children, we recommend choosing the Kids Edition. For one, it comes with a very thick case that can withstand a few bangs. They also come with parental dashboards and curated content (for ages 3-7). It’s also worth mentioning that the above tablet shows ads on the lock screen and costs $15 to remove. Kids Tablet is ad-free.
Finally, there is additional storage in the form of a microSD card. Most mobile phones do not have memory card slots, but some mobile phones such as the Nokia G400 do. Kindle tablets also have expandable storage.
The Samsung EVO Select 256GB is just under $20 and the 512GB is $48. These cards offer speeds up to 130MB/s and are rated UHS-I and A2, so you can move some apps. If you want a card for a dash cam or action cam, the Samsung Pro Endurance can handle wear and tear from long writes better.

The pricing of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series has been the subject of much speculation, but you can avoid the high price by getting the Galaxy S21 FE instead. Chip is installed. It’s a year old at this point, and it’s still much cheaper than the S22/S22+ (and even cheaper than the S23/S23+).
A cheaper option with less features is the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. It has a comparable 120Hz 6.5 inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, but loses in terms of chipset performance (Exynos 1280) and camera (64+12+5+5MP). Still, as a new A-series Samsung, you get great software support.
Samsung’s next-generation foldable device is six months away, so it has an interesting offer. The Galaxy Z Flip4 Bespoke Edition comes at the usual price of his Z Flip4, and Amazon doesn’t currently let you customize the look, so you’ll have to choose from a few pre-made color combinations. However, the 8/256GB version is priced the same as his 8/128GB regular version, which is a pretty good deal in our eyes.
The recent Bose QuietComfort SE, which has very similar specs to the QC 45, launched at €350, but has already dropped to €220. It’s comfortable, has a 24-hour battery life, and excellent active noise cancellation for long flights.
