The ideal screen size for smartphones has changed over the years, but it seems that it has finally settled down. A 2019 poll confirmed that 6-inch emerged as the most popular option, with the 5.9- to 6.5-inch range selected the following year (most people are leaning towards the bottom end) . In last week’s poll, the 6.1-inch was voted top among voters.

It was the option chosen by a quarter of voters. The slightly larger 6.3-inch option received half the votes. This is basically consistent with previous results that focused on 6 inches and slightly above.
The second most popular option was under 6 inches, which may be a result of the minority voters. Market figures do not support the idea that such small phones are popular. For example, the iPhone mini sold worse than his 6.1-inch iPhone. It’s also possible that Asus is selling tens of millions of his Zenfone 9s, but I doubt it will keep quiet.
There are people on the other side of the fence who like bigger phones. Combining the 6.7-inch and 6.8-inch-plus options earned her nearly a quarter of the votes.
