Compared to the M1 model launched in late 2021, the new MacBook Pro looks no different. Released and still looks attractive.

The word MacBook Pro no longer appears at the bottom of the display. From 2021 they have been moved to the underside of the case where they are stenciled.

The keyboard is what Apple calls the Magic Keyboard. No magic that I can discern, but it’s the most effective keyboard I’ve ever used. The keys are stable and have gentle grooves that make it easy for your fingers to find them. It also has excellent travel and feels luxuriously comfortable under your fingers. The trackpad is large and easy to use, too, making it easy to navigate documents and web pages with taps and strokes.

A large speaker is mounted on the side of the display. These sounds are incredible, especially if you’re listening to spatial audio content, as they seem to envelop you for a truly immersive experience.
Like any Mac laptop, this is a beautifully crafted gadget that feels balanced and thoughtful. All these elements came with his last MacBook Pro and are well preserved here as well.

The outside remains the same, but the inside remains unchanged. The big update is the processor, with pro and max options to choose from. Regular Macs like the MacBook Air are so powerful that even pros might argue it’s overkill. In my testing of this laptop, I didn’t hear a fan spinning, so the processor is power efficient. We found that the MacBook Pro had plenty of headroom to run completely silently.
The performance level of this laptop is out of scale. This is for the M2 pro, not for the even faster M2 max. But while it’s true that these machines are built to never disappoint the most demanding pros, they still have merit for the rest of us. But the power of the MacBook Pro means you’ll almost certainly have plenty of headroom for your future needs.
The power of a laptop is also reflected in its battery life. Currently, it lasts up to 22 hours on his 16-inch MacBook Pro, with no performance degradation when running on battery instead of mains power.

22 hours is video playback time, but in normal use this laptop goes on and on. So you rarely have to think about plugging it in. It’s more like a smartphone you charge overnight than while you’re using it. It’s a breakthrough in itself.
It changes the way you approach your Mac so you won’t leave your power brick and charging cable behind when you’re on the go all day. This is something most computers couldn’t handle a few years ago and offers true freedom. Again, it comes down to efficient power management of the processor.
It is also compatible with wifi 6E, a faster standard that can speed up your connection. However, you need a good router, and these are not yet widespread.
