Edwards Urbina snaps a photo with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra a few days before the official launch of the new flagship. Now he’s moved on to showing off the phone’s improved video capabilities.
Here is a 4K 60fps sample uploaded to YouTube.
Unfortunately this is the only one uploaded so far. Urbina posts a lot of videos on Twitter, but the social network doesn’t handle high definition videos very well.
Still, this is an 8K video sample recorded with the main 200MP camera (based on the new ISOCELL HP2 sensor). It’s way too compressed to talk about image quality, but notice how smooth it is.The Galaxy S23 series finally supports 8K video at 30fps.
update: It was early – the tweet with the video was deleted.

The second video of Twitter was also shot with the main camera. However, I’m not sure if the YouTube sample looks like it’s zoomed in. Either it’s a digital zoom or he on the phone could be one of the two telephoto cameras (3x and 10x).
While you’re here, check out the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera sample. They’ve been scaled down by Twitter, so we can’t enjoy the details captured by the 200MP sensor in this shot.

And here are two sets of images showing the same at 10x telephoto camera optical magnification and 30x digital zoom.
