A number of Microsoft services were experiencing issues early Wednesday, with thousands of people taking to social media to complain about the problem.
According to downdetector(opens in new window)Xbox Live, Microsoft Store, Outlook.com(opens in new window)Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams and several popular games including Mine Craft When Fate, an outage has occurred within the last 24 hours. The Microsoft 365 status page is located at(opens in new window) Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft services such as Teams, Online, Outlook, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Graph, Power BI, Microsoft 365 Admin Portal, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Identity, Endpoint there is.
The Microsoft 365 Status account on Twitter said, “We are investigating an issue affecting multiple Microsoft 365 services.”
In a subsequent tweet, account wrote(opens in new window) Microsoft “identifies potential network issues and is reviewing telemetry to determine next troubleshooting steps.” Said(opens in new window) “Rolled back network changes” which may have been the cause of the outage.
Downdetector charts show that things are improving for Microsoft, but some users are still complaining about outages.
It’s worth mentioning that Microsoft has announced a company-wide layoff and plans to lay off 10,000 employees. The layoffs started last week and will continue through the end of March.
