Oppo Reno8 T price revealed before February 8 announcement

Oppo’s Reno8 T has been the subject of a number of leaks over the past few weeks, and yesterday we finally found out when that announcement will be made.

Now, also from the Philippines, we can discuss pricing for the next device, as revealed in a Facebook ad for a brick-and-mortar store in Quezon City.

The phone costs PHP 18,999, currently equivalent to $348 and €320 respectively, according to a listing showing multiple Reno8 T boxes ready to sell to customers.

I’m assuming this is a 4G only model as there is no 5G branding on the box. For that amount, you’ll obviously get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, although a 128GB iteration seems to be on the way as well. The listing also mentions his 6.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 40x zoom ‘microlens’ camera, and a handset with a 100 MP ‘portrait camera’.

The battery is 5,000 mAh and should support 33W fast wired charging. There are two colors, black and orange, and the orange has a fake leather look. The Reno8 T is said to run ColorOS 13 on top of Android 13. In the Philippines, you can reportedly get Oppo’s Enco Buds2 TWS earbuds for free when you pre-order any of these.

According to past leaks, rumors and speculation, the 4G-only Reno8 T will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC while the 5G model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695.
