Edifier G2000: 1 minute review
The Edifier G2000 proves at least one thing. That said, Instagrammers on PC setups have a flair. Of course, it’s kind of hard to trust people who make their living promoting products. After all, they’re getting paid, so you’ll have nice things to say about them. But if you don’t take their word for it, at least take Edifier’s word for it. Haven’t audio brands already proven their ability to produce affordable yet great-sounding audio devices?
I’ve tested more than my share of Edifier products over the years and they seldom let me down. I was interested in powerful computer speakers It’s more about looks than audio performance. can you blame me I mean, look at them! Plus, I love that they come in pink — no, it’s not just because I’m a woman.
So, admittedly, I was a little surprised by the quality of the audio that erupted from these things. The is actually impressive. It’s the connectivity options they offer, in addition to the sub output port that allows you to connect to the sub for the missing deep rumble, and customizable LED lighting.
they’re not going to match something like SteelSeries Arena 9 Or the upcoming Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, obviously. But if you want an affordable speaker with great audio performance and an attractive design, it’s an absolute ace.

One of the cheapest computer speakers I’ve tested, the Edifier G2000 is $109.99 / £89.99 / AU$119. Some might say it could be a little cheaper, but given the sound quality, multi-connection options, and design, I think it’s actually a great value. Sound quality can be disappointing.
However, in the interest of fairness, Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 With a sub-$75/£75 price tag and the inclusion of a subwoofer in that price, it’s proven to be quite the foe.of Logitech Z407 At the same price point, it also comes with a sub, so it’s worth a little more. Again, the Edifier G2000 is well designed. So it really boils down to your taste.

Edifier G2000: Design
- Compact hexagonal form factor in various colors
- 12 light effects
- Bass port on the back of each satellite
Like me, there are many people who want the Edifier G2000 just for the looks. In addition to their compact, space-saving form factor at approximately 4 inches wide and 5 inches tall, these computer speakers are hexagonal and taper towards the back for a unique and attractive look. increase. There are also several colors, such as pink and red.

In addition to its design, each satellite has three customizable lighting areas. Two on each side towards the rear and a large one at the rear. Customizable means you can switch between 12 lighting effects using the LED lighting effect switch on the side of the right satellite. It’s not really customizable, but the lighting on these speakers adds to the immersion whether you’re playing a game or watching a movie.

Speaking of switches, there are two multi-use buttons and a volume lever on the side of the right satellite. The top button doubles as a power button and input mode switch, while the bottom button acts as both an LED light effect switch and a sound effect mode switch. This same satellite has a port on the back. It has a USB port, an AUX input, and a sub-output port.
Finally, there are bass ports on the back of each satellite. This bass port is naturally small at about half an inch in diameter, but it does help boost the bass. More on this below.

Edifier G2000: Performance
- perfect sound for its size
- Moderately balanced mids, clear highs
- Sound imaging could be better
The Edifier G2000 PC speakers are surprisingly full-sounding for a small stereo speaker with 2.75-inch drivers. There’s no sub-bass, of course, but the upper low end seems boosted and sounds like there’s more low end than it actually is. most noticeable when I miss that deep low end, but there’s enough bass to keep the audio sound richer thanks to the bass ports on the back of each satellite.

The Edifier G2000’s midrange is fairly balanced, but it doesn’t sound rich. Considering the size of these speakers, this is probably the best. They’re small and don’t have a separate tweeter, so if it’s really mid-heavy, the mids can drown out everything else. Having a nice midrange is already a bit impressive.
The high end, on the other hand, isn’t veiled or muffled, and is clear enough to satisfy most listeners, if not audiophile-level detail. is pretty good.
Finally, the soundstage. As long as the Edifier G2000 is positioned with each speaker facing each ear, the soundstage should feel wide enough. As for the actual sound imaging, it’s fine, but not very accurate.when you see Zack Snyder’s Justice Leaguethere was clearly a lot of action and it was hard to pinpoint where it all was.
Should I buy Edifier G2000?

Then buy…
Then don’t buy…
