January is an interesting time for the smartphone world. The first next-gen flagships are just starting to hit the market, and others are yet to come. And because replacements are months (or weeks) away, older flagship and premium phones are about as cheap as they are somewhat up to date.
We’ve picked out great deals from several regions and have also included offers for tablets, smartwatches and headsets.Use the links below to jump to your region.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max probably won’t get a big price cut. At least not from Apple. When the 15 Pro Max arrives, this will simply be discontinued. Other retailers are more flexible when it comes to pricing. For example, Amazon offers his 128 GB model at a small discount.
In addition, you can purchase accessories with a discount on the Apple Watch Series 8 to €440. Please note that this is for the 41mm GPS model. A 45mm model is available for €475. The LTE version is available in both sizes and costs €100 more.
Moving on to Samsung’s side, the Galaxy S21 FE is available for half the price of the base S23 (at least based on the rumored price). His Snapdragon 888 in FE is no longer the best chipset, but it can still hold its own against mid-rangers.
As for accessories, the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is fairly cheap, with only 10 euros difference between the 40mm and 44mm models. For comparison, the 40mm Galaxy Watch5 is 90 euros more expensive (70% more expensive).
However, if you want a rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch4 Classic is your only option. On the plus side, it’s cheaper than the Watch5.
Paying 380 euros for the Snapdragon 695 is a bit high, but the Sony Xperia 10 IV’s package includes things you won’t find elsewhere (such as a microSD slot and 3.5 mm jack in the same phone). The charger could have been faster, but the battery life is amazing.
If anything, the Sony Xperia 5 IV’s price is hard to swallow. It may have launched in late September, but its hardware resembles a phone from early 2022. On the plus side, the offer comes with an extended warranty for a total of 36 months, so you can rest easy. increase.
Sony fans can also accessorize. The Sony WF-1000XM4 is one of his best TWS headsets out there and he found it to be very good in our long term reviews. Sony may launch his XM5 one day, but it will cost over 170 euros.
Sony LinkBuds are an interesting choice. The central hole means it doesn’t block your hearing at all. It also sounds more natural than digital passthrough mode. This is great when you want to listen to music or podcasts, but you should always be aware of your surroundings.

Apple discontinues older Pro models every year, but keeps the vanilla pair as a cheaper option. The iPhone 13 mini and 13 are available from Apple.com for £650 and £750 respectively, with Amazon offering a £50 discount on both.
The Honor 70 features a 54MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. It doesn’t have a camera manufacturer’s name on it, but it’s still pretty capable (especially the selfie camera). The screen is great, the battery is great (charging boots up quickly), and with a healthy discount applied, even the Snapdragon 778G+ is competitive (the Honor 70’s MSRP is pretty high.
For the same amount of cash, you can get an Oppo Reno8 instead. It has a more powerful GPU, but its smaller 6.4-inch 90Hz display doesn’t match Honor’s 6.67-inch 120Hz panel. The ultra-wide camera resolution is also only 8MP, but the battery is slightly more durable and charges faster.
Also in this price class is the Samsung Galaxy M53. The Dimensity 900 won’t win any awards, but its 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED panel is competitive. And you get a 108MP main camera (but only an 8MP ultra-wide angle). The 5,000mAh battery is a bit big, but charges noticeably slower.
The 46mm version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is priced down to £220. The smaller 40mm Galaxy Watch5 is also more expensive, with the 44mm version at £240. You can pay a little extra to get a 4G connection. For example, the 40mm Watch5 is 270 lbs. £330 for the Galaxy Watch5 Pro, £430 if you want 4G.

There weren’t many in-state phone offers this week. It’s worth a look, but the Moto G Power 5G (2022) has been slashed to $250. The internal storage is 256GB and comes with his 256GB microSD for free.
With few interesting phone deals to watch, we turned our attention to tablets. Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ are discounted at Best Buy. The regular slate has an 11-inch LCD, while the Tab S8+ has a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED panel instead (both 120Hz). Both are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
If you’re looking for something cheaper, the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) is $150, but you get a 10.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and Android 13 with One UI 5. However, there is no DeX.
If you want true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds2 are down to $95. It’s not as advanced as the Pro, but it has the same form factor and comfortable fit.
The 9th generation Apple iPad 10.2 isn’t the fastest with the Apple A13 chip, but there aren’t many new iPads costing $270 either. The 10th generation is faster and starts at $450, while the 9th generation is usually $330 on Apple.com.
India
The iQOO 11 became India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone when it launched a few weeks ago. No big discount yet. The phone is very new. That said, it’s also unmatched in terms of performance, rendering games on a beautiful 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution.
A little easier to swallow is the iQOO 9T’s price tag. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and should offer all the performance most people need. It may be of value to some, but not to others.
The Xiaomi 13 series hasn’t made it to India yet, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro has seen a significant price drop since its launch. It’s now halfway between the iQOO 11 and 9T, but the original 8 Gen 1 chipset is slower than either. However, the triple 50MP camera is better than what iQOO offers. You also get other perks like wireless charging.
The OnePlus 10R is more mid-range due to its Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. This is a fast and efficient chipset that pairs a 120Hz HDR10+ AMOLED display with a large fast charging battery (80W in this case).
Next up is an affordable 5G smartphone at Rs 20,000. The Realme Narzo 50 Pro is mid-sized, with a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, powered by a Dimensity 920 and a 5,000mAh battery (33W fast charging).
The Tecno Camon 19 Pro is quite large with its 6.8-inch IPS LCD (120Hz, FHD+), but the Dimensity 810 is more than enough. The battery is also 5,000mAh and can be charged at 33W.
The Redmi Note 12 is both cheaper and in-between in terms of size with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display (FHD+ of course). It uses the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and, as you might expect, packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
The Oppo A74 5G is even cheaper with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD (90Hz, FHD+). Using the more common Snapdragon 480 chipset, the 5,000mAh battery breaks the pattern with 18W charging.
The Tecno Spark 9T leaves behind 5G in cheap mobiles, marking Rs 1 lakh. There are many HD+ screens in this price range, but the 9T has a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD (60Hz). The Helio G35 is good enough, with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
We finish with one of the cheapest smartphones, the Nokia C01 Plus. Granted, this is just an Android 11 Go edition phone, but it’s easier to get apps than something like KaiOS. To put the pricing contextually, the Nokia 2660 Flip costs Rs 4,650 and doesn’t even run KaiOS.
