I wish my own review was so boring. I especially love the “refurbished” expansion that represents video game remakes. The phrasing gives it a warm, livable feel, like his freshly reupholstered 90s station wagon. In contrast to the PS5 remake of Demon’s Souls. This was like a beautiful Victorian brownstone painted white and an open concept.
This isn’t the first time the legendary director has joined the game. He’s an avid fan of Fallout, Horizon, and Dead Space, and has expressed interest, even directing a film adaptation of Dead Space. (opens in new tab)if such a thing is greenlit.

I’m not a big fan of Dead Space movies myself, but Carpenter’s comeback in the 2020s will be covered as he sees fit. What we’re not in immediate danger of is a Red Dead Redemption western revival from the director.
