Creative launched several wireless earbuds and headphones last year. The latest addition is the new Creative Sensemore Air TWS.
Ambient mode, Sensemore mode, ANC mode, Super X-Fi technology and many more.
In this review, we take a closer look at these Creative TWS earbuds. I have been using it for almost 2 months and would like to share my real user experience.

Creative Sensemore Air is The most comfortable in-ear earphones I’ve triedIt can last up to an amazing 10 hours.
And most importantly, the audio quality is decent with strong bass and excellent treble.
On Android and iOS, the Creative app allows users to turn on Sensemore mode, Ambient mode, or ANC mode, and there’s even a dedicated graphic equalizer!

The Creative Sensemore Air comes in a clean square white box.

In contrast to most wireless earbuds that work out of the box, the Creative Sensemore Air needs to be charged before first use.
Quality of design and construction
of Creative Sensemore Air earbuds have a matte black finish that looks great and resists fingerprints and smudges.
It feels good in your hand and opens and closes smoothly.
The charging case has three small LEDs that indicate the battery level of the earbuds and the case itself.
When the battery is low, the color of the LED light will change from green to yellow to red.
The color of the earphones is also matte black. The earbuds have a glowing ring light and the center earpiece has a glossy finish.
In my opinion, these design combinations are not well matched and could be improved further.
Overall, the Creative Sensemore Air strikes a nice balance between size and weight, making it easy to carry in your pocket.
comfort and ease of use
Many people overlook that comfort is the number one priority when it comes to in-ear earbuds. This is one area where the Creative Sensemore Air earbuds excel.
Each earbud weighs just 5.2 grams, which is standard for wireless earbuds.
The earbuds come with three sizes of eartips: small, medium and large. So you can easily find one that fits your ears perfectly.
These ear tips are made from soft silicone material for a comfortable and secure fit.
You can jog or work out while wearing it, and it is sturdy so you don’t have to worry about it falling off.
It can be worn for a long time without putting pressure on the ear canal.
of Creative Sensemore’s touch controls are great and very precise.I have never accidentally paused or disconnected. Touch controls are better than the previously reviewed Sudio Nio.

audio quality
Creative Sensemore Air is equipped with a 6mm bio-fiber drive unit with a frequency of 20-20kHz. It also supports SBC and AAC codecs, as well as Creative’s proprietary Super X-Fi technology.
Sensemore Air earbuds have great performance in low, mid and high frequencies.
The bass is strong and well defined without being overwhelming, and the mids are clear and articulate.
The highs are also clear and detailed, which is pretty amazing.
Overall sound quality is excellent, and an equalizer allows users to further fine-tune it.
There are many equalizer presets for different music genres and uses such as games, music, movies, acoustic, classical, dance, hip-hop, etc.
There are also EQ profiles for specific game titles such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Dota, Rocket League and Fortnite.
connectivity
Creative Zen Hybrid supports Bluetooth 5.2. According to my personal experience, Bluetooth connectivity works very well.
There are no drops or skips in the Bluetooth connection, even at 10+ meters away and without direct line of sight.
I haven’t experienced any sudden disconnections, so the stability is outstanding.
Battery life and charging
As for battery life, the earbuds can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. Together with the charging case, it lasts for a total of 35 hours.
With ANC mode on, the battery life is reduced to 8 hours in the earbuds and works up to 27 hours with the charging case.
The charging case supports USB-C charging and wireless charging (Qi compatible).
ANC, Ambient and Sensemore modes
In addition to ANC and Ambient Mode, Creative Sensemore Air also comes with Sensemore Mode.
Besides, users can adjust the intensity in the Creative app. There are his 5 levels of intensity that the user can choose from, from minimum to maximum.
ANC mode is good for reducing low frequency noise such as fan noise and air conditioner noise.
At that price point, its ANC performance is probably the best I’ve seen.
Ambient mode lets you hear the sounds around you so you know what’s happening around you. This mode is perfect for people who have a lot of commutes.
Finally, Sensemore Mode is designed to improve your hearing. Enhances vocals and all other sound waves.
Personally, I find it less useful as it amplifies all sounds and is louder than ambient mode.
others
SXFI
Super X-Fi audio processing is a technology developed by Creative. Use software to simulate the surround sound of your home theater sound system (these earbuds don’t use the SXFI Ultra DSP chip like the Creative Zen Hybrid).
This is a great effort, but it’s not very useful as it only works with the dedicated SXFI app. It would be great if it could be natively integrated to work with other apps like Youtube and Spotify.
call quality
Creative Sensemore Air’s call quality is average. As with all wireless earbuds, they pick up a good amount of ambient and distant sounds.

For those looking for great sounding, comfortable wireless earbuds under RM500, Creative Sensemore earbuds are the perfect choice.
