Epson flew to Barcelona this week to launch its PowerLite L-series laser projectors for three businesses at ISE 2023.
The PowerLite L775U, L770U, and L570U laser projectors are targeted for deployment in meeting rooms, event spaces, classrooms, and auditoriums and share many of the same feature sets.
All three models are built around Epson’s 3LCD laser technology with a laser diode light source and a 3-chip LCD projection system, delivering 20,000 hours of normal use with “virtually maintenance free” light sources and air filters. It is reported that Can be extended to 30,000 hours.
Outputs WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution visuals, includes 4K enhancement pixel shift to increase pixel count to 4.6 million, up to 500 pixels at 16:6, 16:9, 16:10, or 21 It can display square inch images. :9 aspect ratio.

Connectivity is shaped as HDBaseT and HDMI inputs, plus optional wireless networking with HDMI outputs, Ethernet LAN, and adapters added. Wide lens shift, 1.6x optical zoom, edge blending and keystone correction tools make installation easy, while a built-in media player and content creation app enables “seamless content management.”
Optional PixAlign cameras can be added to each unit for multiple projector installations without the need for an external computer. The projectors also have one 10 W speaker each.

Both the 775 and 770 models boast 7,000 lumens of color/white brightness. The only difference is the color of the housing (black in the former, white in the latter). A 570 projector outputs 5,200 lumens. Brightness modes can be customized for optimal performance or maximum light source life.
Epson unveiled a new projector at the Integrated Systems Europe Audio/Video Expo in Barcelona, Spain. Scheduled to be released in March, the price is undecided.
Chris Teguh of Epson America said: “As more information needs to be displayed on a single screen and closer viewing distances, the need for larger displays with higher resolution becomes increasingly important. The addition will allow the end user to provide more information, and the realistic display will allow the viewer to focus on the content rather than the technology.”
