The Nothing Ear (2), which the company’s CEO Carl Pei said will arrive in the second half of 2023, seems to have mostly kept the design. One notable change is that the noise-cancelling mic has been moved from the back of the earbuds to the sides. Otherwise, the design of the bud itself and its in-ear shape appear unchanged.
Rumor has it that the Nothing Ear (2) supports dual connectivity (you can even use the buds on two devices at the same time). It also offers personalized Active Noise Cancellation, an option to fine-tune the strength of ANC. Finally, nothing adds advanced EQ so users can dial in the exact settings they need.
