TechPowerUp’s testing showed that the power delivery of this unit was amazing, handling loads up to 2000W while maintaining 43°C and not shutting down with a transient load of 3200W. That’s a good thing, and while the 10-year warranty should provide some relief, it also suggests that the overpower protection could be set a little higher for longer life.
Another drawback was that the fan put out over 50 dBA at full load to maintain such a comfortable temperature. On the other hand, if you need that much power, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1650W PSU is your best bet.
