If wormholes (strange tunnels connecting two regions of space-time) exist, we might be able to find them in a way that magnifies light. This phenomenon, in which light from behind a space object is stretched around the object because of its gravitational field, is called the gravitational lensing effect, and wormholes may be some of the most powerful lenses around them.
