With millions of Americans receiving their tax refund checks, it’s time for Samsung to buy the new Galaxy S23. It’s no coincidence, I’m sure. Samsung sells a lot of them, and most people who buy an all-new Galaxy will be happy with it.
I am not going to be one of them. I suspect it’s also for the same reason, although you may not be either.
Reviewers write a lot of praise for the phones, especially the Ultra, but those are mostly the same words that were said about the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21. I’m here. I hate phone reviews, but this one will be especially difficult.

Even for Samsung, it was hard to find anything that differentiated it from the last phone they bought. was enough to make a movie, do you need an S23 to make a Hollywood movie? Because I would never shoot a feature film on my phone unless I did.
Look at the pictures I took with the phone I have now. Pictures taken with my new phone look almost the same. Instead of being a useful feature or a fun social tool, your phone’s camera exists as a set of buzzwords to convince you. It’s ridiculous and I wish phone makers would stop.
Why (and when) you should upgrade

I’m not saying that no one should buy this phone. I’m just saying that if you have a phone that you bought last year, you can probably spend your money elsewhere, like rent or groceries. not.
Also, I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy Samsung phones. I used to hate software, and I still hate some things, but that applies to everything in the world. A perfect product is never made. Samsung makes the best Android phones for just about everyone and supports them even after giving the company all the money. If you ask me, it’s the type of product you should buy.
Plain and simple: If you’re still using something like the Note 9 or Galaxy S10, you should bite the bullet and buy the S23 Ultra or S23. The same is true if you’re using an old Pixel phone, or replacing a faulty LG phone you bought just before the company ditched you.

The S23 is packed with Samsung’s best software and will be supported for the next three years. I tell you not to buy a Galaxy S24 next year. You can get the old unlocked one from Amazon, but it might be worth spending a little more money if you buy a new one.
Galaxy S22 is cheaper if you’re looking for a cheap refurbished or second-hand product like me (opens in new tab) And for all intents and purposes, as good as new shiny.
Yeah it’s a great phone. But so did phones before that, according to the makers’ own words, phone reviewers, and most importantly, people who use phones every day.
Just like you don’t need a Pixel 7 anymore, you won’t need a Pixel 6 until it dies or Google doesn’t care. That he spends $1,200 on something that isn’t a new S23 Ultra. baby food and electricity bills.
