OnePlus enters the tablet game with the OnePlus Pad

As expected, OnePlus shipped its first tablet today, simply named the Pad.

The new offering arrives in the premium tablet segment with Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The design is also unique, so you can’t mistake it for another manufacturer’s.

Up front, the OnePlus Pad offers an unusual 7:5 aspect display – an aspect ratio between 3:2 and 4:3. This is an 11.61 inch 2800x2000px IPS LCD with a variable refresh rate up to 144Hz.

The panel reaches 500 nits and offers a solid 1400:1 contrast. OnePlus says the thin bezels will result in an 88.14% screen-to-body ratio.

There you have a 13MP shooter with 4K video. There is also an 8MP 1080p camera on the front.

The OnePlus Pad has four speakers, one in each corner of the tablet, and supports Dolby Atmos. The display supports Dolby Vision.

Inside the OnePlus Pad is a 9,510mAh battery, good for 14.5 hours of video streaming and a month of standby. Able to charge at SuperVOOC speeds of 67W, the OnePlus will be fully charged in 80 minutes. OnePlus offers a seamless transition between Pads and OnePlus smartphones, including the option for tablets to use the phone’s network connection to access the Internet.

The OnePlus Pad has a Halo Green color matching the OnePlus 11 and an inscription of “Star Orbit” issuing lines etched into the CNC-machined aluminum back panel, flowing from the rear-facing camera.

You can purchase additional magnetic keyboards, folio cases, and OnePlus Stylo, a stylus for taking notes and drawing on your OnePlus Pad.
