Xiaomi announced the Civi 2 in September as a selfie-focused smartphone. There are two front-facing cameras and his two dual LED flashes embedded in the top bezel, which come in four nice colors.
Today, the company announced a new version of the Hello Kitty Special Limited Edition. It’s already available for pre-order on Xiaomi China’s website, but unfortunately it’s still limited to the domestic market.
Xiaomi Citizen 2
Inside the Xiaomi Civi 2 is the same, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the back are his 3 cameras, the main one with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Still the focus is on the front dual cameras. Both he has a 32MP sensor, one with AF and the other with his FoV of 100 degrees.
The smartphone will go on sale on the 9th of February on Xiaomi’s website. Priced at CNY2,799 ($410), the original cost of the basic 12/256 GB version, it has now been slightly reduced to CNY2,699 (just under $400).
