Everyone is on the ChatGPT bandwagon, including Google. But you can’t play with Google’s new toy just yet.
Earlier this week, Google announced Bard, an answer to ChatGPT, and Microsoft’s Bing-generated AI search model. Prompts get detailed answers that look well researched. At least, that’s how it works in theory.

Unfortunately, right now there’s little way to know how well the Bard actually works.According to the company’s blog post(opens in new tab)Google has only put it in the hands of “trusted testers,” but it will be available to the public “in the coming weeks.”

So it’s a bit of a bummer if you try to jump right into Bard and have him say hilarious things for your social media lover. However, it is not the end of the world for those interested in AI.

Just go to the Bing AI page.(opens in new tab) Click Join Waiting List to join the waiting list. You’ll have to log into your Microsoft account and follow the instructions from there, but it’s easy. Hopefully one day we’ll have access to Bing’s AI search tools.
