dog is definitely no The man’s best friend in the trailer straysSpecifically, one man: Threesball Doug (Will Forte). Doug has committed the terrible sin of abandoning his sweet, naive dog Reggie (voiced by Will Ferrell) to protect himself in the middle of the city.
Thanks to some urging from new doggie friend Bugs (voiced by Jamie Foxx), Reggie comes to terms with the fact that Doug left him behind on purpose. Masu—rather than reuniting with his owner—ahem—“bites his penis.”
Thus begins Reggie and Bugs’ quest for revenge, joined by fellow strays Maggie (voiced by Isla Fisher) and Hunter (voiced by Randall Park). These dogs are arguably the weirdest trailer of 2023 yet.
