Realme GT3 to arrive this month with 240W charging support

Today Realme unveiled the GT Neo 5 duo in China. One version features a whopping 240W charging speed. It’s the fastest in the world, and Realme has confirmed it will hit the global market later this month.

However, the phone that will bring the new technology out of China will be the Realme GT3, not the Neo 5. It’s possible the company will simply rebrand the phone, but so far that hasn’t happened between the Neo and the main GT. Series, so overseas markets may be getting another device.

Realme GT3 arrives this month with 240W charge

To enable 240W charging, the company designed a custom 12A charging cable and a 240W dual GaN mini charger. The GaN part is very important because standard 240W chargers are ridiculously large.

The GT Neo 5 has a 4,600mAh battery, and at least that bit is likely shared with the Realme GT3. It claims to be the first battery to support certified over 200W charging. Theoretically, it should retain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charging cycles. This is very impressive.
