DDR4 Still Needs Love, The Overclockable Lexar HADES DDR4-3600 Kit

Do you dream of CL18?

Thanks to Intel’s continuing support for DDR4 for those who don’t want to pay extra for DDR5, and the fact that previous generation AMD platforms are still available, there is a market for new DIMMs. Lexar hopes to meet these needs with its new HADES DDR4-3600 32GB kit. It has 18-22-22-32 timing and a fancy RGB heat spreader.

XMP timings and frequencies are easy to set and provide solid performance, but the official specs seem to be just suggestions. Neoseeker ran at DDR4-4000 without any timing tweaks, and just dropped to CL 19 and ran DDR4-4200 just fine.

The extra frequencies will help Intel users and AMD users may be able to push these timings down a bit while still staying in the DDR4-3600 sweet spot.
