After successfully rolling out One UI 5 to most Galaxy devices last year, Samsung is starting to roll out its next major feature update to most of its flagship smartphones as of Monday. As noted by XDA Developers, multiple reports indicate that Samsung is about to roll out the One UI 5.1 update to its flagship Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S22, S21, and S20 series. Out is further picked up by Samsung’s latest foldable phone alongside previous models.
As mentioned above, One UI 5.1 is an incremental update of One UI 5 based on Android 13. The new iteration brings productivity and performance enhancements along with new Gallery features.

For example, users can use the new “Effects” button to quickly change the color and tone of their selfies. One UI 5.1 also brings his Expert RAW mode to the Camera app, making it easily accessible for users interested in controlling captured images.
The added Gallery feature includes a notable search option, allowing users to search for multiple people at once by typing their name or face. It also includes the ability to find familiar faces in your gallery and suggest adding them to your family’s shared albums. Additionally, swiping up on an image reveals image remastering capabilities and improved photo information.
