The pre-order period and associated benefits for Samsung’s Galaxy S23 flagship will end soon. You only have 2 days left to get a free memory upgrade. The Galaxy Book3 series has also launched, and the Galaxy Book3 Ultra is available for pre-order starting today (note that this ships a little later than other laptops).
Mind you, we’ve already had a review of the Galaxy S23 trio, and even had hands-on time with the Galaxy Book3 Ultra.
New devices can be found at major retailers such as Samsung.com and Amazon. Below are links to go to online stores in several countries.
united states of america
Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at $200 if you sign up with AT&T to trade in your old device. Basically everything is worth $1,000, including lower-end phones like the Galaxy A32 and older models like the Galaxy Note8.
Verizon sets the trade-in credit at $800, so the phone starts at $400. Still, an old iPhone 7 gets you $800 in credit. This also applies to various devices such as Samsung, Google, OnePlus, etc.
US Cellular prices start at $450 for the S23 Ultra, but the credit deal is very different. That price can only be achieved if you send us something like the Galaxy Z Fold4 (worth $750).
T-Mobile offers trade-in credits up to $1,000 for Magenta MAX plans and up to $500 for others. You should enter his IMEI of your old device to see its value.
Moving on to smaller models, the Galaxy S23 is free from Verizon and AT&T. The same applies to the S23+, but with a trade-in credit set at $1,000 to match the price of the phone. Really, you can’t get your hands on the LG V50 ThinQ for $1,000.
Prices above are for unlocked units with no trade-ins. Trade-in prices for older devices vary considerably if there is no carrier to facilitate the deal. For example, the S22 Ultra is $500 and the iPhone 13 Pro is $500. Up to $560.
In addition, Amazon links for SIM-free models are also posted. Amazon is adding gift cards ($100 for S23 Ultra and S23+, $50 for S23) to lower the phone’s effective price.
The Samsung Galaxy Book3 series is also available for pre-order. Since the Galaxy Book3 Ultra flagship, the base configuration has Intel Core i7. You can also upgrade your storage from 512GB to 1TB for free. RAM is 16GB. It has an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU inside. The Galaxy Book3 360, Book3 Pro and Book3 Pro 360 also have i7 processors. However, there is no i9 option and you will be relying on Intel Iris Xe graphics. On the plus side, you still get free storage upgrades.
Canada
Moving to Canada, there is no carrier deal, but the S23 model is available in limited colors. The Galaxy S23 Ultra comes in Graphite, Sky Blue, Lime, and Red, while the other two simply add Graphite and Lime to the usual four color palettes (Cream, Phantom Black, Green, and Lavender).
The Galaxy Book3 Ultra is not yet available for pre-order, but prices start at C$3,000. Amazon has a listing showing a shipping date of February 22nd. Other Galaxy Book3 models are available for pre-order now and come with a free pair of Galaxy Buds2.
Not all SKUs are available on Amazon, so the lowest price is lower.

The Galaxy Book3 Ultra base version comes with an Intel Core i7, RTX 4050 and 16 GB of RAM. You can opt for the more powerful i9 and RTX 4070 instead, but the RAM won’t go up to 32GB like in other regions.
