Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD: 1TB for $90 ($100), 2 TB for $150 ($180)
Samsung’s original T-series portable SSDs have been our top picks for years. The latest T7 is almost twice as fast as its predecessor, the T5. In our tests, we found the T5 lived up to the hype in both speed and reliability. The T7 boosts read and write speeds to 1,050MB/s and 1,000MB/s respectively.
The T7 Shield is the ruggedized version of the T7, tested to withstand drops of up to 9.8 feet and rated IP65 for dust and water resistance. The 2TB version retails for $150, which is the lowest price we’ve seen so far. Usually hovering between $180 and $170. The 1 TB option sells for $90 ($10 more than the all-time low).
Samsung 980 Pro SSD: $100 for 1TB ($120), 2 TB for $160 ($200)
If you’re building a high-performance gaming PC, or upgrading your PS5’s storage, the Samsung 980 Pro is a great option for both. The 2TB 980 Pro hits a record low price of $160 ($100 for 1 TB) and can take your demanding gaming PC builds to the next level with Samsung’s write speeds of up to 7,000MB/s. PS5 owner needs his 1TB or 2TB 980 Pro with heatsink. Both sell for record low prices ($110 and $180 respectively).
If you’re building a more casual gaming PC, the old 970 Evo Plus is a few bucks cheaper and still a good choice. It is also available in 1 TB and 2 TB configurations. The former is $80 and the latter is $150.
If you choose one of these, be sure to keep your firmware up to date. There have been some reports of the 980 and 990 series being at fault, but Samsung seems to have released an effective firmware update for this.

Samsung microSD Cards starting at $13 ($20)
Samsung’s microSD cards have always been a reliable and usually fast option for portable storage such as Nintendo Switch and GoPro. Notably, the Evo Select is U3 and V30 rated, and the 128GB version is currently around $20 to a record low of $13. The 512GB version also sells for an all-time low of $45.
Samsung Galaxy Watch for $229 ($250)
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 5 is the most advanced fitness-tracking smartwatch you can buy for your Android smartphone. It has the heart rate, GPS, blood oxygen sensor, and bioelectrical impedance analysis you’d expect from a top-of-the-line smartwatch. The latter is currently exclusive to Samsung watches. Unfortunately, this also only works on Samsung phones.
Otherwise, the Watch 5 offers a sleek interface that’s easy to navigate and intuitive thanks to Samsung’s digital rotating bezel and close collaboration with Google. It’s $70 cheaper than the lowest price we’ve seen at and has more fitness sensors. This current sale price is comparable to the yearly lows.
