Today, TikTok announced “TikTok Trivia”. This is a new 5-day live trivia game for US users aged 18+ with a chance to win a share of the $500,000 prize pool by answering multiple-choice questions related to beauty, lifestyle and music. You can get and sports.
The experience will also be presented in Lionsgate and “John Wick Chapter 4,” allowing users to see trivia questions and “surprises and integrations” based on the “John Wick” franchise, the company said today. “John Wick Chapter 4” will be released on March 24th.
Users can participate in live TikTok trivia sessions by visiting the @TikTok channel on TikTok LIVE. To have a chance to win your share of the prize, you need to attend the trivia session and answer all the questions correctly in time.
TikTok Trivia starts next week on February 22nd and ends on February 26th.
Starting today, users in the US 18+ can subscribe to the experience by clicking the trivia widget in the For You feed. Users can also search for #TikTokTrivia or go directly to their @TikTok account.

For the first three days, TikTok Trivia will have two one-hour live sessions per day. The first session begins at 8:00 PM ET and the second session begins at 9:00 PM ET.
There is also a special “survival round” that gets more difficult as the questions progress. The last remaining group will split the $100,000 prize pool.
After each trivia session, TikTok invites users to check out which creators are currently live-streaming on TikTok LIVE. The short video app recently raised the age requirement to host a livestream to her 18.
TikTok Trivia is hosted by content creator James Henry, best known for his “I scrolled too long” video that appeared in his For You feed. Henry has 4.2 million of his TikTok followers.
“Game shows and trivia have been part of popular culture for years and we are excited to work with TikTok to bring this engaging form of entertainment to TikTok Live. It has the power to create an inspiring atmosphere of excitement and community,” Henry said in a statement.
The new trivia experience is not just for John Wick fans, but users who remember HQ Trivia, a 12-question live video trivia game where users can participate in multiple games each day to earn real money. It will also be exciting for many TikTok users. HQ Trivia closed in 2020.
There are reports that TikTok may be planning to add mini-games to LIVE videos.There are also reports that the company may be looking for a partner to roll out its live shopping service in the US.
