Phoenix-based e-mobility company Lectric has announced new additions to its fleet of electrified vehicles for cargo hauling, including the recently launched XP 3.0 and XP Trike. The XPedition cargo ebike can carry up to 450 lbs, comes with a 1.3 kW peak motor, and can use dual batteries for 150 miles of range.
According to Lectric, the new cargo ebike is basically developed from the first XP model launched in 2019, and is intended for parents who want to leave their car at home when taking little ones to school, or for a cleaner bike. It is aimed at package delivery people who want an eco-friendly method. Moving cargo around town, and anyone who needs to move cargo from A to B without adding emissions to the local air.
Company co-founder and CEO Levi Conlow said: “When we launched Lectric in 2019, we aimed to be the best urban transportation solution ever, challenging any idea of transportation we knew. It will challenge you and give you the electric features.”
Electrical
The ebike has a 750 W (1,310 W peak) rear hub motor that delivers 85 Nm (62.7 lb.ft) of torque and a top speed of 28 mph (45 km/h), which is limited can. Allows the XPedition to function as a Class 1 or 2 e-bike according to local regulations.
It also features a 7-speed gearset for ride flexibility, with twist throttle available when needed. It also includes a new Lectric technology called Pedal Assist Wattage Regulation. This essentially provides a predetermined power level for each of the five available PAS modes, rather than limiting each mode to a specific speed.
The aluminum alloy frame accommodates riders between 4.9 and 6.4 feet (1.49 to 1.95 m) tall and houses a single 672 Wh lithium-ion battery behind the seatpost for up to 120 km (75 miles) on a single charge can run. , but the cargo e-bike is available as a dual-battery option with double the range.
Supports rider weight of 330 lbs (149.6 kg) and XPedition can carry up to 300 lbs (136 kg) in the rear and 35 lbs (15.8 kg) in the front with a maximum load capacity of 450 lbs (204 kg). The Lectric also includes a dual-legged kickstand for stability when parking.

The cargo ebike is fitted with 3″ puncture resistant street tires on 20″ wheels, braking power is provided by front and rear hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors, and integrated lighting enhances daytime visibility and a collapsible stem riser makes it easy to transport in the vehicle or store indoors.
XPedition is currently priced at US$1,399 for a single battery or US$1,699 for a dual battery configuration. That makes it a little cheaper than the RadWagon 4 and much cheaper than Trek’s latest entry into the cargo ebike space.
