The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was spotted in Geekbench’s database last week, and the device now appears in Google Play’s console. It will be a flagship tier smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB RAM and 1080p screen.
These bits suggest Motorola will introduce the Edge 40 Pro as the global version of the official Moto X40 in China.

The device’s stock wallpaper looks just like the official image on the Motorola website, where you can see the 2.5D curved sides and a punch hole in the center, all the features you’ll find on the X40.
Google Play Console listing confirms Edge 40 Pro supports Google services. After all, that’s why it appears there. It can also run Android 13 out of the box. We’ll have to wait for an update from Motorola that provides a potential launch window.
