People are no longer looking for NFTs. According to Google Trends(opens in new tab), and my god, it’s been a wonderful few weeks. Unfortunately, Spotify is putting an end to that trend.
Everyone’s favorite streaming service, Spotify, may have unlocked playlists through NFTs. Initial Report by CoinDesk(opens in new tab)Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship, and Overlord communities available to NFT token holders, playlists will be available and updated for a 3-month testing period.

Kingship tweeted, “You need a KINGSHIP Key Card NFT to unlock this playlist on Spotify. Make sure your app is the latest and greatest.”
According to TechCrunch(opens in new tab), users will need to link their crypto wallets to authenticate NFTs and unlock playlists. Probably only available for Android. Apple puts more restrictions on NFTs(opens in new tab)Spotify confirmed the pilot to TechCrunch.
“At Spotify, we run many tests on a regular basis to improve the user experience. Some of them pave the way for a broader user experience, others are important It will only serve as a learning experience,” a Spotify spokesperson told TechCrunch.
