Nokia C02 silently debuts with Android 12 (Go edition) and entry-level specs

Ahead of MWC Barcelona, ​​HMD has unveiled a new entry-level device called the Nokia C02. The phone has a modest spec sheet and interesting features like a removable battery, IP52 rating, and headphone jack.

The Nokia C02 features a 5.45 inch LCD with 18:9 aspect ratio and FWVGA+ resolution. It has a 2MP front-facing camera and a single 5MP rear shooter on the back that sits above an LED flash. The phone features a polycarbonate frame and back with a nano-texture popping out to reveal a replaceable 3,000 mAh battery, as well as dual SIM and microSD card slots. The C02 charges at speeds of up to 5W via an outdated microUSB connector.

The chipset department is handled by an unnamed quad-core SoC with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Adds 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The software side is covered by Android 12 (Go edition) with 2 years of security updates.
