The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has been available for over five months and was originally available in four colors: Cosmic Gray, Aurora White, Solar Gold and Neptune Blue vegan leather option.
Now Motorola has added a fifth option. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion in Viva Magenta is the 2023 Pantone Color of the Year.

The Pantone-Motorola partnership kicked off in 2022 with the Edge 30 Neo, with the mid-ranger coming in last year’s color Very Peri. We look forward to expanding our partnership and improving the look of our more capable devices.
Motorola ships our phones in plastic-free packaging, the entire retail box is made from recyclable materials, and our ink is made from soy. Continuing the sustainability trend, the Viva Magenta color option is finished in vegan leather. Instead of animal products, Edge 30 Fusion’s panels are made from a mixture of polyurethane and plant products.
However, the company left the 68W charger and USB-C cable in the box. Interestingly, the phone emits an exquisite scent, like a fine perfume applied before sealing the package.

Taking the phone out of the box reveals it to be even more attractive than the image. The magenta color is sun-kissed and the camera island and rim are painted as well, making this Edge 30 Fusion one of his beautiful phones we’ve dealt with so far.
When you turn it on, you’ll see a nice wallpaper with the same shades, but the Material You UI has a matching magenta theme. There’s also a small reminder in the personalization menu that this isn’t just the usual reddish color, it’s Pantone certified.
The phone also comes with Moto Buds 600 ANC TWS earbuds. This is the wine tasting shade (yes, that’s actually the name of the color). It is said to be “designed to complement the Pantone Color of the Year 2023” and is a burgundy shade. His CMYK percentage for this color is 100% magenta, so even without Pantone branding, I have to mention that it “creates a striking pair and new wardrobe stability.”

This Edge 30 Fusion comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB, otherwise it’s a premium device with exactly the same features as the one we reviewed in early September. It has an excellent 144Hz AMOLED, a capable Snapdragon 888+ chipset, and solid battery life.
I like the fact that Motorola sticks to the stock OS experience in global markets. Android is still on 12, but an upgrade is planned and Android 13 should be coming soon.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion was originally launched in Europe for €600, but had a starting price of $699 in the US. Bundled with the Viva Magenta version and wine tasting buds means the price has jumped to $799 in the US, but it’s available in Europe for €550, making it a solid deal. Become.
