If there’s one appliance you’re willing to give up on your kitchen countertop space, it’s an air fryer. Sure, my affinity for fried foods might be part of the reason, but let’s be honest, I don’t have time to peek in the oven every five minutes to see if my fries are ready. So, like all good home cooks, we did some digging to find out what the newest and best air fryers on the market are. I made.

The fryer that topped all options in terms of reviews and ratings was the Cosori Air Fryer(opens in new tab)With over 96,000 reviews at time of publication (80,000 of which are 5-star ratings) and an affordable price in a 5.8 quart size (purchased on Amazon for $119.99)(opens in new tab)), I had high hopes that this powerful machine could easily, quickly, and make delicious meals all day long.

overview

The Cosori Air Fryer Max XL offers 360 degree air circulation. Equipped with 13 different cooking functions, it automatically adjusts the cooking temperature and time according to the ingredients, so you can cook by guesswork.

Unlike other air fryers with round baskets, the Cosori features spacious square baskets, so less space is wasted when cooking long foods such as corn or kebabs. Its square shape also makes it easy to store in a corner of your kitchen (a round basket won’t do). Another advantage the Cosori air fryer has over other air fryers is that the heat remains insulated inside the machine. This means that the outside does not get extremely hot while cooking. This is a great feature if you have kids who want to be sous chefs in your kitchen.

How to use Cosori air fryer

Using the Cosori Air Fryer is as easy as placing your ingredients in a basket and choosing your cooking settings (one of the preset functions or manually setting the time and temperature). To test its capabilities, he made three very different meals in the air fryer: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

First of all, breakfast. I love to put batches in the freezer for busy mornings that need a quick breakfast option, so I decided to make egg bites. I also threw in some frozen hash browns because I wanted to test out the frozen hash browns. I put it in the air fryer with the brownie (I was able to fit 7 muffin liners in the basket) and set the machine at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. The result is a perfectly cooked egg with a crispy top and deliciously fluffy. Success so far.

For lunch, I made a grilled cheese sandwich (usually pan-fried on the stove). I set the air fryer at 360 degrees for 5 minutes and found that the cheese was completely melted and the bread was crisp on both sides (although I had to flip it halfway through). It was tough to make. many It’s easier (and faster) to make than the usual method because you can set it and forget it instead of enslaving it on the stovetop.

I wanted to test the protein in the air fryer, so I decided on chicken wings for dinner. Most enthusiastic to try the meals. I dusted the chicken wings with a little baking powder to help crisp them up and added them in one layer in an air fryer set at 380 degrees for 20 minutes (I could fit 15 wings in a basket). I flipped it halfway through so that the crust was nicely crispy. In fact, I’m happy to report that this machine has delivered on its promise of delivering restaurant-quality chicken wings.

Is the Cosori air fryer worth it?

You don’t have to convince yourself of all the magical things an air fryer can do.The question is, out of the dozen out there, which one is the best to do it all.(opens in new tab) It deserves the acclaim. Although the handles will loosen over time (and therefore need to be tightened), air fryers are easy to use, convenient for hassle-free cooking, and deliver reliable results.

As for the noise factor, nothing can be done. This is annoying. This is because air fryers rely on fans to circulate hot air and crisp food. Ovens are much quieter, but they have a larger footprint and are not as efficient as air fryers. Also perfect for
