The US Air Force can now equip autonomous drones with facial recognition technology, raising concerns that they could be used to locate and kill certain people.

According to a contract between the Department of Defense (DoD) and Seattle-based company RealNetworks, the drones will be used by special operations forces for intelligence gathering and foreign missions.
