The Motorola Moto G53 is a capable phone. Powered by 8nm Snapdragon 480+ chipset to enable 5G. This is a significant upgrade for the Moto G52. However, when it comes to performance, the SoC is one rank below the G52’s 6nm Snapdragon 680. The comparison remains unfavorable for successors elsewhere as well.
The display is a step down from the G52, with a 6.5-inch 720x1600px LCD compared to the 6.6-inch 1080p AMOLED panel. On the plus side, the Moto G53’s screen refreshes faster at 120Hz.
Previous phones supported 30W, but the 5,000mAh battery tops out at 10W charging.
