An issue with a specific YouTube video was discovered and posted by a Redditor (via Google News Telegram). The video in question is his 4K HDR clip from the movie Alien. A Redditor found that tapping to watch a video causes the Pixel 7 Pro to reboot. After posting the link to the video and their experience, they asked if others had this problem.
At first glance, this issue only affects Tensor Chip-based devices running stable builds of Android 13. Additionally, I suspect that the reboot issue is due to HDR video processing. I tried watching this video on my Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 Pro and the phone just rebooted before the video started.
