Microsoft announced(opens in new tab) A new Windows 11 update has been released that adds the Bing AI search feature directly to the Windows 11 taskbar. You can now ask Bing questions like, “Would you rather adopt or buy a dog?” (Side note: talk to a real human) directly from the search box at the bottom of the Windows 11 home screen.

That is, if you are accepted into the limited preview program that Microsoft is currently running. To participate, you must sign up for the waiting list. Ultimately, according to a blog post from Microsoft, this feature will be available to all Windows 11 users at some point.

Just a few weeks after we released our AI capabilities, Microsoft has been working hard to make sure every app we can have them. For example, the mobile version of Bing now allows voice input for AI search. You can also chat with Bing AI and Skype.
Generative AI fans can look forward to it now. Everyone else, well…you should get used to it, right?
