OnePlus is about to enter.
Sorry for the bad pun, I had to do it. In any case, ahead of the OnePlus 11 release, the Chinese electronics giant announced at Mobile World Congress that it plans to enter the foldable market this year. And that’s all we know.

The company’s president Kinder Liu provided some more background on the decision in a statement given to the media.
“Our first foldable phone offers the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. The fold form, the industrial design, the mechanics, none of this is a restless flagship.” We want to launch a device that aims to be at the top of the foldable market today.”
In other words, OnePlus wants its first foldable (which still has no name, confirmed design, or release date) to be just as good a phone as it is a foldable.
As for how the phone actually looks or works, it’s hard to say.OnePlus parent company Oppo has a new foldable device called the Find N2 Flip.(opens in new tab), a clamshell design reminiscent of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series. OnePlus foldables can shrink in size like clamshell foldables or expand in size like the tablet-like Galaxy Z Fold series.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know what to expect from OnePlus’ foldable debut. But at least we know we can expect it.
