Samsung announced the Galaxy A14 5G last month with Exynos 1330 or Dimensity 700 SoC depending on the market. Now the company has unveiled a 4G version of him similar to the Galaxy A14 5G but with different hardware.
First of all, the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G is expected to have a different chip. Samsung didn’t name it on its official website, but it could be the Helio G80 SoC. The screen refresh rate was also lowered from 90Hz to 60Hz.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 4G has a 13MP selfie camera just like the 5G, but with a different triple camera system on the back. Both smartphone setups feature a 50MP camera coupled with a 2MP macro unit, while his 2MP depth sensor in the 5G version is swapped out for his 5MP ultra-wide camera in the 4G model.
It’s also worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G uses Bluetooth 5.1 instead of Bluetooth 5.2 and has a single memory configuration (6GB RAM + 128GB storage). However, it does have a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 4G’s remaining highlights include a 6.6-inch FullHD+ LCD, USB-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging and a biometric fingerprint reader mounted on the side. Samsung hasn’t said which version of Android the Galaxy A14 4G will be using out of the box, but we hope it’s the same as the 5G version of Android 13.
Samsung lists the Galaxy A14 4G on its Malaysian website with four color options. However, no word on its price and availability.
