It finally happened. Tesla has opened up “some” superchargers in the US to other electric vehicles.
The company announced the change in a tweet on Tuesday, with an accompanying video explaining how the feature works. Users will need to download Tesla’s mobile app and create an account along with payment details. . You can then get a map of Supercharger stations using Tesla’s Magic Dock, which converts Tesla’s proprietary charging plug to the widely used CCS adapter.

After selecting a supercharger, the user has to select a free dock and unlock the adapter via the app. You can then undock the adapter and plug it in to start charging.
