Fitbit app keeps crashing? Here’s what we know so far.

“My Fitbit is down and I can’t record how stressed I am about this.”

Many users crash when opening the app on both Apple and Android devices. His Downdetector on the website reports that thousands of users are having issues with the app since early this morning.(opens in new tab)(Editor’s note: Downdetector is owned by Mashable’s parent company, Ziff Davis).

What about the Fitbit app?

On Twitter, some users say the app crashes on startup or after a short period of use. Downdetector has seen multiple user issues since 6am ET.

According to The Verge(opens in new tab), this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with the Fitbit app recently. In February, his Google-owned Fitbit suffered a server outage that lasted him three days, and a few days later he lasted a second.
